Toddlers Love Learning Through Song and Dance
With toddlers, it’s important to keep their minds and bodies engaged at the same time! We love to get our wiggles out with daily singing and dancing. Music and dancing for preschoolers are both wildly important and beneficial; they help develop communication skills, allow little ones to express themselves, and teach them about what their bodies can do! We teach all sorts of songs that can help us learn about letters, animals, and even putting things away.
Storytimes During Toddler Childcare
Reading is essential, and we value everything that books have to offer. We hope to instill a love of reading in your child from day one at our childcare center. Our classroom libraries are well-stocked, and your child can explore books alone, with a friend, or as a class during storytime. As your little one ages, we will learn the alphabet and sight words.
Child-Led Play Time
Hands-on, child-led play is one of the best ways to learn. Your little one will be able to enthusiastically explore their environment in a safe and fun way, learning tons of social skills and gaining emotional intelligence along the way. Our older classes slowly become more structured to accommodate the learning needs of every kid.
How Do You Support Home Schedules?
Young minds thrive when they can fall back on their routine and structure. We intend to communicate and work with parents to support home schedules and routines as much as possible. With this approach, toddlers can learn to expect the same thing at home and in childcare, ensuring easier transitions and a greater love of their toddler childcare environment.
How Can I Be Involved with My Toddler’s Childcare Center?
We always love having parents involved in our play and learning! Parents are welcome to see what we’re up to and can do so via Tadpole, a parental communication app. This app allows your child’s teacher to give you crucial information about their day, like their eating habits and learning strengths. We will send daily pictures, videos, and reports to you to make sure you feel connected, even from afar.
